This is the ambitious second album from her time as a member of the Prince family.
As the title "In Romance 1600" suggests, this is a conceptual work themed on medieval Europe. The fusion of Latin percussion and funk simultaneously expresses her musical roots and innovative spirit. It is an ambitious work that builds a unique worldview in the pop scene of 1985.
