This album marked the beginning of a change in the band's sound and made them known to a wider audience. The 4th album released in 1984. It contains 9 songs in total, including the pre-release singles "The Killing Moon" and "Silver", and the re-cut single "Seven Seas". This was the first album to have more than one single released from this album. It was a hit, reaching #4 on the UK Albums Chart and #87 on the US Billboard 200. The change from the rock sound of the previous album to a pop sound was also a factor in its success. |
