A remaster of the popular works of Japan's leading super guitarist, Takanaka Masayoshi.This 1978 work shows the influence of Latin music and a free spirit. It was produced in studios in LA, Rio de Janeiro, and Izu. The album includes songs recorded with Brazilian musicians and a samba arrangement of Star Wars. You can also listen to the fan-popular "Disco B". Ryuichi Sakamoto also participates in the keyboard and string ensemble. The album was remastered and cut by Alex Wharton of Abbey Road Studios in London using high-resolution audio from the original master tapes. He is one of Abbey Road's leading engineers, having worked on mastering for Paul McCartney & Wings, The Chemical Brothers, and others. The first production is limited to a 180g heavyweight record. It will be released on clear sky blue colored vinyl. |
