A guitar instrumental album released by Masayoshi Takanaka from Victor in 1978.This is one of the "PROFESSIONAL HIGH-TECHNIQUE SERIES" instructional albums for musical instruments, following Tsugutoshi Goto's "On Bass" and Hiro Tsunoda's "On Drums." Yukihiro Takahashi (Dr), Robert Brill (Dr), Haruomi Hosono (B), Getao Takahashi (B), Pecker (Per), Shigeto Hamaguchi (Per) and others participated. The first track, "Breezy" written by Bobby Womack, was a worldwide hit on subscription services. The original song "Rainbow" that is only available on this album and a different version of The Sadistics' "Blue Curacao" are also rare. This is a must-have album for fusion/rock fans, featuring great covers of classic songs by Billy Joel, Perez Prado, Santana, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Boz Scaggs! |
