You can't avoid this work. A CD version of a masterpiece among masterpieces. This CD was released in 1995 as part of the "BN WORKS 4100 SERIES", originally released in 1965. This is a work that allows you to enjoy the hot jazz of the 60's, starting with the title trac This work features Freddie Hubbard (Tp.), George Coleman (T.Sax), Ron Carter (B.), and Tony Williams (Dr.). Since this was the period when he was active in the Miles Davis Quintet, the members who worked with him in that quintet also participated. The title track "Maiden Voyage" is influenced by classical music, and although it is a song that explodes with his imagination, it has a familiar melody, which is said to be the reason why this work is considered a masterpiece. |
