The origins of funk rock were born from a chemical reaction with George Clinton.
RHCP's early masterpiece "Freaky Styley" was produced by P-Funk king George Clinton and developed a rough sound where funk and punk collide. Anthony and Flea's personalities were still on the verge of exploding, but their energy had already exceeded its limits.
