Unsettling dance that goes beyond the boundaries of ska, the anxiety and play of 1980s Britain. This is the band's second album, which has been met with mixed reviews. It is a challenging work in which the flag bearer of 2 Tone Ska ventures into jazz, lounge and electronic sounds. "More Specials" is the second album by The Specials, who led the British 2-Tone movement. They experimented with a variety of styles, including new wave, lounge music, and digital dub, completely changing the ska/reggae style of their debut. As a result, fans of the previous album were confused, but tracks such as "Do Nothing" and "Man at C&A", which combine social satire and humor, strongly reflect the chaotic atmosphere of the Thatcher era. It is an underrated masterpiece that also influenced later club culture. |
