A live album that saw the light of day 15 years after it was recorded.
This work was recorded at a Columbia Records Jazz division party held at the Plaza Hotel in New York in September 1958.
A live performance featuring legendary members such as Paul Chambers (B.), Jimmy Cobb (D.), Bill Evans (Pf.), John Coltrane (T.Sax.), and Cannonball Adderley (A.Sax.). Since it was a session at a party, the members themselves did not know that it was being recorded. As a result, you can enjoy playing that you cannot hear in a normal recording session.
