This classic song originated in the EU and became a huge hit in Japan as well.
The fourth single, released in 1965. Written and composed by Serge Gainsbourg, it sold 200,000 copies not only in the EU but also in Japan during the Beatles boom.
The B-side contains "Le Cœur Qui Jazze". Following the song's huge success in Japan, a Japanese version was released in October of the same year. Even today, it is a familiar song in Japan, often used in commercials.
