Tetsuo Sakurai (bass), Akira Jinbo (drums), and Minoru Mukaitani (keyboards), who were members of the early days of Japan's leading fusion band "Cassiopeia," began working as the "Katsushika Trio" in 2021. They performed live in five locations: Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Yokohama, and stirred up a frenzy of audiences of all ages, from old fans to young people. The long-awaited first original full-length album "MRI_Mirai," released with that momentum, won first place in the jazz, classical, and other genres of the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking on November 6, 2023, and was well received. This work features eight carefully selected songs from the first album, which features the heated ensemble of the three members, with the slogan "childish adult music," and is in the order of the members' preferences.
