Contains the complete audio from the first theatrical release.

The drama version of the first Urusei Yatsura movie, released in 1983. The entire movie audio, including the theme song, insert songs and background music, is included on two discs.

In the days before video decks and software became widespread, the drama format was a common technique used in theatrical anime films. This film was directed by Mamoru Oshii. It was his first theatrical anime film and had a completely original story. It was highly praised by the original author Rumiko Takahashi, but Mamoru Oshii later said it was a complete failure.
